A bit about myself
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student pursuing my Bachelors Degree at Georgia Tech. I have a passion for learning and value the implementation of my coursework into the engineering I do outside of class. My natural curiosity makes me a passionate worker with strong adaptability, collaborative, and leadership skills.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Having worked on many different project teams that call for a variety of skillsets, I know the importance of working well with those who specialize in different fields. I currently collaborate the most on my robotics team, where work between mechanical, electrical, and software sub teams is crucial. This skill has not only lead to more successful and timely projects, but has also allowed me to diversify my own skillset, and understand more about areas of study that are peripheral to my own.
Engineering Mindset
Throughout my time as a student at Georgia Tech, I've learned so much more about being able to interpret the proper process required to make sure projects are properly executed. The development of my engineering based mindset has allowed me to respect data driven results, and seek out optimized outcomes. I have since been able to refine my design strategies and move away from relying on intuition-based decisions without proper validation.
Leadership
I believe being a good leader is more than being good at something; it's also about being able to be able to hold the attention of a group of people while staying approachable. This is something I've learned to do on Wreck Racing, where my experience as safety and training lead has allowed to me give new members a seamless and productive onboarding process. Additionally, my role on the leadership side of the team has taught me lots about feeling confident in participating in the logistics-side of a project.
Independent Thinking
I know that engineering involves being able to make good decisions in an iterative process without having to consult others at every step of the process. I have a personal eagerness to learn that makes me an excellent independent worker. My motivation to learn incentivizes me to be able to make engineering decisions on my own without hindering the progress of my team. This skill has proven useful in all of my involvements, resulting in efficient team coordination progress and deadlines that get met.
